Life is hard, yo. Last weekend was a drama fiesta, and this weekend was amazing until I realized two things, one of which is that I lost the key card to my apartment building while I was in Radford. Ah well, life happens. Looking for something exciting to do in June. |

| | satc, s3 | ] | Oh wow, it has been a crazy few weeks. I have to say that my life has become absolutely ridiculous and I love it. I'd been in kind of a funk since Eurotrip 07 and am finally coming out of it, and really excited for version 08 next summer. Austria, art, beautiful men, house on the French Riviera to party in apparantly. All is looking good and looking up. Have decided to finally start hitting the gym again, become primarily a nighttime chainsmoker as opposed to all the time, and finally learn how to cook Italian food beyond what I already know. Also, I'm excited to start sleeping at my apartment again...avoiding walking home at 2am has had me everywhere but here, and my cats are starting to wonder where the hell I've been. I have to be here this week anyway, two major tests and a huge paper due. Probably going home for part of next weekend, hopefully some more 4 hour multi-stop coffee breaks and seeing some people I have gotten out of touch with lately (this means you, Christa!). Hope things are going pretty well for everyone else too. :) Woo! |

How's that for a vague emo entry after nothing for awhile? |

In other news, I'm excited to go party with a friend I haven't seen in a long long time. |

| What I've learned in the past year |
[Jan. 21st, 2007|08:31 pm] |
Being negative does not help any situation.
Life is there to be lived.
You take in so much of your surroundings that it is key to make time for the best of places and people.
Sometimes things don't work out the way you plan, no matter how much effort you put into them.
Take control when you can, but don't be afraid to let others take care of you when you can't. |

| [ | mood |
| | cynical | ] | Today was fucked up to the extreme. Apparantly some people don't know the difference between a human being and a doormat. Following that, apparantly putting an IV in the side of your wrist is the way they roll in French hospitals, although they took blood from the normal spot? Whatever. Also I am extremely glad I never had to experience that thing where they put the tube up your nose and into your stomach and then clean it out by pumping in water and pulling out acid before, but unfortunately, there is a first time for everything. Ugh. One more week. Spain here I come. |

- Long ago, the people of Nicaragua believed that if they threw Celia into a volcano it would stop erupting.
- Ostriches stick their heads in Celia not to hide but to look for water.
- Celia will give a higher yield if milked when listening to music.
- Half a cup of Celia contains only seventeen calories!
- Celia was banned from Finland because of not wearing pants.
- By tradition, a girl standing under Celia cannot refuse to be kissed by anyone who claims the privilege.
- In Japan it is considered rude to talk with Celia in your mouth.
- Pound for pound, hamburgers cost more than Celia.
- In the Great Seal of the United States the eagle grasps 13 arrows and Celia!
- If you cut Celia in half and count the number of seeds inside, you will know how many children you are going to have.

I don't smoke often, but damn that cigg was amazing just now.
The diet is going better now, thanks to that hellish three days of detox. I was supposed to make it a week with a friend, but we both ended up quitting early. Probably better in the long run.
I'm not happy with the way I act. |

What do you do when you still kinda like someone who you haven't talked to in years? And doing nothing is not an option because clearly, I tried that back in the original situation. |

| [ | mood |
| | happy | ] | oh wow. From I guess last Tuesday night to now has been INTENSE emotionally, spiritually, and physically. I've realized so many things in one brief space of time, and my "year" came to the perfect end, albeit a couple days early, everything made perfect sense. I really wish someone was online to discuss it with me, but this was a definite turning point for me, in a lot of ways. Also, on a side note, do not eat too many hash brownies, it can get pretty ugly. |
